Expectations

Listed above are the below physical requirements for every crew member from the top to the bottom of the chain of command starting on day one of our training.

During our ’80 Hours’ of critical training individuals will be pushed both physically and mentally. This training is designed to mimic both the physical and mental stressors that firefighters endure on the fireline every day.

Hard work, dedication, and proper nutrition will go a long way in helping applicants to succeed during the 80.

1.5 mile run in 10:30 or less

Sit ups:  40 in 1 minute or less

Push ups: 25 in 1 minute or less
