Fitness & PT Scores
Listed below are the physical requirements of every crew member throughout the Chain of Command on day one of our training. Our '80 Hours' of critical training is both mentally and physically intense for everyone involved. This training has been designed to mimic the physical and mental stress we endure on the fire line daily.
Over the winter, dedication, a proper diet, and staying physically fit will help applicants be successful during the 80.
These are the Minimum PT scores you are allowed to have on the crew:
1.5 mile run: 12:00 min
Plank: 1 min
Push ups: 25
Pull-ups: 3
These are the PT scores you should aim for or better to be successful on the crew:
1.5 mile run: 10:30 min
Plank: 2:30 min
Pushups: 50
Pull-ups: 7
